This course focuses on the analysis and application of strategies for the sustainable development of tourism, integrating economic, social, cultural, and environmental criteria. It addresses the responsible planning and management of tourist destinations, the conservation of natural and cultural heritage resources, the involvement of local communities, and the promotion of practices that contribute to the sector’s growth without compromising the needs of future generations. It also examines tools and policies to promote competitive, inclusive, and sustainable tourism.
