BF-931 TÓPICOS AVANÇADOS EM MICOLOGIA I: Introduction to fungal conservation

Prof. Greg Mueller (IUCN SSC Fungal Conservation Committee, Chicago Botanic Garden)

Synchronous meetings: October 14th (10-12h); 21st (10-11h); 28th (10-13h) and 29th (10-12h)

This course will cover core topics in fungal conservation including the need to conserve fungi, identifying threats, challenges and opportunities for collecting the data needed to assess a species threat status, how to assess and publish the threat status of species, and how fungal conservation deserves to be recognized as a distinct field of conservation biology.

Requisitos del curso

Having a degree in Biology or a similar field.

Requisitos institucionales

1. Being enrolled in an institution member of the eMOVIES program;
2. Present proficiency in the language in which the course will be taught.
