Descripción del curso
This intensive graduate-level course is designed to develop academic writing skills for students pursuing a Master’s degree at Universidad El Bosque. Open to professionals from all disciplines who have achieved a B2 or greater English level, the course develops a repertoire of English-writing strategies, both technical and theoretical. Through guided practice, structured feedback, and continuous revision, students will learn to produce well-organized, coherent, and discipline-appropriate academic texts such as research proposals, literature reviews, and argumentative essays.
Emphasizing clarity, critical thinking, rhetorical awareness, and correct citation practices, the course equips students with the communicative competencies necessary to participate effectively in scholarly dialogue and professional contexts. The aim is to expand publication, conference, and work horizons for researchers, professionals, and academics by enabling them to articulate complex ideas, support arguments with evidence, and contribute meaningfully to academic and applied research.
